Dear Lenny,

Thank you so, so much for the wonderful work you did as DJ for our wedding. Really, it was a great highlight to the whole event and the wedding wouldn’t have been the great success that it was without all of your hard work.

I will be completely honest with you, Lenny. Before the wedding, we were quite anxious about the music. It is such an important aspect of any wedding, and it is so hard to judge whether a “hired hand’s” musical choices could match the atmosphere we desired for our event. We had hired you without a referral, and with only one meeting. We really felt like we were rolling the dice with you … but then you appeared and worked our Friday night Karaoke event, and you were so much fun – so much a part of the party that night, that all our doubts subsided.

You did a wonderful, professional job. You really do know your work – to be fun and funky, but always tasteful and appropriate. The Karaoke party was a great success, the music you played for the ceremony all went according to script, as did your work during the dinner with the background music and the schedule of speeches.

Of course, our greatest concern was with the dancing. That our guests danced was one of our highest priorities for our wedding, and having a DJ who is able to work the scene and work the crowd is vital to pulling off a successful dance party. And you did that with gusto, Lenny. You transitioned from our first dance to the hora (great mixing of the different versions of the hora, btw!), to the Black Eyed Peas perfectly! And when the lyrics came to “tonight’s gonna be a good night” Abby and I smiled to each other, because it truly was. It was a great celebration! And you played such an integral part in making it so. Thank you.

We promise that when next a friend is getting married in the Muskoka-Haliburton area, we will be sure to insist that you are the DJ to hire! Mazel tov!

Hi Lenny,

I wanted to send you a quick note to thank you once again for supporting our great cause in relay for life. Your DJ (Josh) was amazing! He certainly made our event a great success, a great guy too! I am happy to say we had over 422 luminaries which were lit at 10pm with the piper playing and each luminary represented a person either struggling with cancer or who had lost their battle with cancer. These stayed lit all night until they were blown out at 7am. It was a very special scene at 3am in the morning and throughout the night.
We also raised almost $50,000 for cancer, a great feat for the first time in Collingwood.
Thank you for being part of it! We hope we are able to count on you for next year.

DJ Ian did a fantastic job at our teen dance last year....would love to have him back although I know that all your guys are great.

We especially appreciated when he thought to ask the organizers about the level of profanity allowed, something we hadn't considered, the teens were requesting songs that were very graphic and Ian checked with us before he played it. We valued how in tune he was with the audience he played music that the teens loved yet weren't over the top with vulgarity.
